One particular search product that Mayer hinted at is “Google Health”, which has been widely speculated on by the likes of Search Engine Watch and other technology sector websites.
According to Mayer, video will play a more prominent role in all aspects of search at Google:
“The presentation of search results is going to change a lot in the next couple of years,” she says. “Video will play a big role. If you search for how to cut up a chicken or how to change a flat tire, video is the right answer.”
