Netflix Offers Self Serving Apology

Drag Your Credit Card Back Out For Netflix?

“It is clear from the feedback over the past two months that many members felt we lacked respect and humility in the way we announced the separation of DVD and streaming and the price changes. That was certainly not our intent, and I offer my sincere apology.” Reed Hastings, Netflix co-founder and CEO

Seriously? Is that what you call an apology?

It wasn’t just that members felt you lacked respect and humility when you ignored thousands and thousands of them giving you feedback on your FB page and by phone. It was that you DID lack respect and humility.

Then you proceed to follow up that “apology” with a launch for Qwikster thinking we will drag our credit cards back out because you said you were sorry.

Are you kidding me?

Wasn’t that really the plan all along?

At this point, I would be more than willing to pay more to another company if it meant they had an ounce of integrity because that would be far more integrity than Netflix has shown during this mess.

As always, just my 2 cents…

That was not at all an apology, it was a joke.
