Announced today, PayPerPost is implementing a new policy that requires participants to fully disclose the sponsored nature of blog posts done through their program. The new terms of service go into effect immediately, and also prohibit those purchasing the sponsored posts to from demanding non-disclosure. Simply put, if you wish you use PayPerPost to get posts written about you or your product, or want to use it to make some extra money on your site, you’ll need to disclose that the post is sponsored.
Until now, PayPerPost has in a sense promoted non-disclosure and left it up to the individual blogger to decide whether or not they’d like to mention it. Since PayPerPost came into existance, there have been concerns about the effect of undisclosed sponsored blog posts. ReviewMe has also cropped up, which requires disclosure as well.

Without much fuss or hype, Microsoft quietly launched a version of MSN Radio which is powered by Pandora. This is an attempted effort by Microsft to keep up in the highly competitive online streaming music business.
This new deal could potentially introduce millions of new users to Pandora, giving MSN a better shot at taking on their rivals and taking over as the #1 online streaming radio. Currently Clear Channel ranks #1, and Yahoo Launchcast ranks #2.
Pandora, for those who are not aware, is a streaming music service that offers up “like for like” music recommendations. For example, you can type in a particular artist or song that you like, and based upon research from the on-going “Music Genome Project”, Pandora will serve you up with others songs by the artist, as well as other artists who they believe you will have a very good chance of liking as well. It’s a great new way to discover new music.
MSN customers, on average, are not that techie and may be less likely to seek out new technologies on their own. By bringing the new technology to them, it may make them more likely to pick up on it and utilize the new service.
If you’re a geek, then you probably don’t need MSN to introduce you to Pandora. Simply go to Pandora.com, create an account and get started. It’s a very unique music experience, and a great way to find new artists and music that you will enjoy.

Online advertisers will soon have another option of connecting with blog and website publishers who wish to earn revenue from their sites through advertising. On Monday, October 9, 2006, AdQuick, an apparently UK based operation, is set to lauch.
So what makes AdQuick different than all of the other advertising platforms currently available? They offer publishers one of the highest payouts in the industry, at 80%. Other similiar companies payout around the 50% (or less) range. That gives publishers a lot more incentive to stick with them. Payments are also distributed every 14 days, unlike the standard monthly payment offered by similar services.
So what’s in it for advertisers? Advertisers have total control over what websites and blogs that they advertise on, and can tailor ads to the specific sites and audiences that they wish to target. This maximizes your advertising dollars.
V7 members are being offered an exclusive deal which will ensure them a 90% pay rate for as long as you use AdQuick, (instead of the standard 80%). When you sign-up, make sure to mention that you saw the the offer at v7n.com.
So check it out….it looks to be a promising endeavor. AdQuick is set to launch on Monday, but you can signup now to have your account ready for the launch date. You can sign up at http://www.adquick.co.uk/interested.

Electronic Arts (EA) along with the in-flight entertainment company DTI Software announced a plan today to provide multiple airlines with in-flight versions of their games. This will be largely headlined by the popular Sims 2 game, while other titles will be those pulled from EA’s Pogo.com.
The Pogo.com titles available at the launch of this program will be Poppit, Word Whomp, Phlinx, Tri-Peaks Solitaire, Harvest Mania, Tumble Bees, Great Escapes Solitaire and Turbo 21. Pogo.com was acquired by EA in 2001.
DTI Software is reportedly partnering with 60 airlines, many of which are international. Other video game companies, including Atari, Hasbro, and Jamdat already provide games for in-flight entertainment.
In-flight entertainment is becoming a crucial part of the business, so adding to their collection of options is clearly a benefit. Airlines like Virgin Atlantic and JetBlue use their personal television and music services, while others must seek third-party sources.

Worried that someone is looking up your internet browsing history? A new UK start-up company has just released a browser that will help you alleivate such concerns.Coined “Browzar“, the new browser sidesteps privacy concerns by not saving a cache or history of visited sites, and deletes all cookies acquired during a session when you close the browser.
Browzar is a 246K application, which is small enough to download each time you want to use it. However it can also be stored on a hard drive, or a flash drive. Browzar requires that IE 5.5 or higher be installed on your system, and this is mainly because Browzar uses its rendering engine.
Right now Browzar is only available for Windows PCs, however MAC and Linux versions are in the works. No release date has been set for those versions.
Browzar is backed by Ajaz Ahmed, the former founder of Freeserve, a free ISP in the UK which he sold in 2001 for $3 billion.
